We were about to move cross-country, I was leaving my career behind, and the thought of having something concrete to hold on to was too powerful when faced with the question "do you want to know the gender?" I'm not a "we'll see" kind of gal. I'm a planner. And I'm with you. It's a surprise either way, but I'd rather be surprised earlier than later.
